Teaching Staff

When learning at 1on1 Mandarin, expect the highest quality Chinese education. Not only are our teachers graduates from some of the best teaching universities in China, but they are also well-trained and developed by 1on1 Mandarin. Even after initial training, our teachers are evaluated by their students every three weeks and by their supervisor once a month. The feedback is used to help the teacher improve her craft and grow into the most effective teacher possible. Meet a few of our full time teachers!

Wang Qiaoqian graduated from Beijing Language and Culture University in 2006 with a degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.She has taught at 1 on 1 Mandarin since September 2005. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, listening to music, and reading.

Li Hongdan graduated from The Communication University of China in 2006 with a degree in Chinese Language. She has taught at 1 on 1 Mandarin since October 2005. In her free time she enjoys shopping, going to KTV, and playing table tennis.

Wei Juan graduated from Beijing Language and Culture University in 2007 with a degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. She has taught at 1 on 1 Mandarin since October 2006. In her free time, she enjoys singing and dancing.

Liu Chang graduated from Yangtze University in 2006 with degrees in English and Education. She has taught at 1 on 1 Mandarins TeaTalk since November 2006. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and watching movies.

Zhang Xin graduated from Beijing Normal University in 2007 with a degree in Chinese literature and language. She has taught at 1 on 1 Mandarin since September 2007. In her free time, she enjoys playing sports and watching dramas.
