Group Business Chinese Courses I+II
Proficiency Level: Intermediate-A language assessment is required to qualify for class registration.
Description:
This course focuses on trade and business negotiation in China. Actual case studies will help you understand business, trade affairs and relevant policies and laws. We will cover materials relevant to doing business in China, such as building business relationships, doing business negotiations and understanding business contracts.
Goals*
Use Chinese fluently in your work environment and daily business interactions. Understand and use Chinese business policies and laws to enhance your effectiveness.
Course Duration and times:
Each course consists of 24 two-hour sessions completed over 12 weeks. Optional course times include Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. or a mid-afternoon course. The mid-afternoon course days will be scheduled based on student availability. The days and times will not change once the course begins. Course I must be completed to qualify for Course II.
Course Instructor:
Wang Liyuan Graduated of Beijing Language and Culture University with a degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and more than 200 hours experience teaching Business Chinese courses. She is studying Second Language Acquisition for her Master Degree now.
Curriculum: Business Chinese Conversation-Intermediate I and other course materials developed specifically for this course.
Class size: Small Group Class (2-4 students)
